The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for warning vehicle collision, which calculate an estimated vehicle braking distance in consideration of a driver state and a road surface situation to provide more definite collision warning. The present invention provides an apparatus, a method and a system for warning vehicle collision, wherein the apparatus comprises: an image acquiring unit acquiring vehicle inside image information and vehicle outside image information; a front vehicle information acquiring unit acquiring speed information of a front vehicle and information on a distance to the front vehicle; a first weighting factor calculation unit calculating a first weighting factor based on the vehicle inside image information; a second weighting factor calculation unit calculating climate situation information or road surface situation information based on the vehicle outside information and calculating a second weighting factor according to the climate situation information or the road surface information; a collision risk analysis unit analyzing collision risk with the front vehicle using one or more among the information acquired by the front vehicle information acquiring unit, the speed information of his or her own vehicle, the first weighting factor and the second weighting factor; and a warning processing unit generating a warning control signal according to the collision risk analysis result. |
