TIME SWITCH

A time switch (1) includes a contact mechanism (40) which converts into an active state to electrically connect a power supply (2) and an electrical device (3), or an inactive state to electrically disconnect the power supply (2) and the electrical device (3). The time switch (1) comprises: a cam mechanism (30) which mechanically drives the contact mechanism (40) to be converted between the active state and the inactive state; a rotation shaft (21) which delivers torque to the cam mechanism (30); and a knob which is combined with the rotation shaft (21), and converts an operation state of the contact mechanism (40). Also, the time switch (1) includes a ratchet mechanism (25) which allows the rotation of the rotation shaft (21) when the knob (22) receives power of rotating the knob (22) in a first direction and prohibits the rotation of the rotation shaft when the knob (22) receives power of rotating the knob (22) to a second direction which is a reverse direction of the first direction.
