[Class 40 (viii)] In a coupling network comprising four terminals and four arms, additional adjustable capacities C<1>1 and C<1>2 are arranged in parallel with the normally provided capacities C1 and C2. When the voltage ratio of a usual coupling network of this type is varied by altering capacities C1 and C2 it is necessary to retune the circuit by adjusting inductances L1. The extra adjustable condensers shown enable this to be avoided and they may be differentially gang controlled. In a modification, additional condensers C<1>1 and C<1>2 are provided in a circuit comprising inductances L1 and L2 in series and together in parallel with condensers C1 and C2.
