PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle front part structure which enables a front side member to stably deform in a lateral folding manner at a position where a mount bulk exists during a head-on collision and prevents the increase in the number of components and the mass.SOLUTION: In the vehicle front part structure, a mount bulk 28 provided in a cross section of a front side member 12 is welded to an outer panel 22 at a front side fixing part 46 and a rear side fixing part 48 which are located adjacent to each other in a longitudinal direction. In the outer panel 22, a vertical bead 50 extending in a vehicle vertical direction is formed between the front side fixing part 46 and the rear side fixing part 48. Therefore, when a buffer load is input to the front side member 12 during a head-on collision, stress concentrates on the vertical bead 50. Thus, the front side member 12 deforms in a lateral folding manner to the inner side when viewed in a vehicle width direction with the vertical bead 50 set as a starting point. |
