PLANAR ANTENNA HAVING SURFACE RADIATION PATTERN

Disclosed is a planar antenna having a surface radiation pattern. The disclosed antenna comprises: a dielectric substrate; a radiator formed on top of the dielectric substrate and provided with a feeding signal; a first parasitic element formed on top of the dielectric substrate and arranged with a predetermined gap from the radiator in a first direction; a second parasitic element arranged with a predetermined gap from the radiator in the first direction and with a predetermined gap from the first parasitic element in a second direction, which is perpendicular to the first direction; and a ground plane formed on the bottom of the dielectric substrate, wherein a first slot is formed on the ground plane. The disclosed antenna can provide the characteristics of surface radiation via a planar structure and can maintain the characteristics of surface radiation with respect to a broad band.
