An electronic device capable of having a battery attached thereto or removed therefrom. The electronic device is equipped with a battery, a battery storage section, a cover, a first restricting part, and a second restricting part. The battery has a first principal surface and a second principal surface on the side thereof opposite the first principal surface. The battery storage section stores the battery so as to expose the first principal surface of the battery. The cover covers the battery inside the battery storage section. In a direction parallel to the first principal surface, the first principal surface has a first end section and a second end section. The first restricting part restricts the movement of the first end section toward the cover side, and is covered by the cover. The second restricting part restricts the movement of the second end section toward the cover side, and is covered by the cover. |
