The invention relates to an installation used for fatigue testing by combined thermal and mechanical stress of the alloys with the shape memory. According to the invention, the installation combines the thermal cycles at temperatures of maximum 150°C, with tensile test of the specimens (1) with standardized shape for determining the approximative number of operating cycles of an element, until there occurs the deterioration of the shape memory properties and, at the end, the material breaking, the installation being conducted by a computer program (12) by means of a control panel (13), the combined thermo-mechanical stress occurring inside a metallic enclosure (7) heated by means of the system (5 and 6) and the weights (4), and a motor-reducer (11), respectively. |
