The invention provides an obstruction device that hinders movement of transport means and prevents unauthorised access of vehicles to a guarded area. The technical result of the device is higher reliability of operation. The technical result is achieved by provision of an obstruction device comprising a support base, a movable ramp, an immovable ramp, a drive with a body element and an actuator element, and a movable ramp fixing mechanism, wherein a platform is provided between the movable and immovable ramps and is pivotably linked therewith, the platform and the movable ramp are arranged on the support base and have the body element and the actuator element pivotably secured thereto, the movable ramp fixing mechanism comprises at least one hook mounted on the support base and engageable with a shaft secured to the free end of the movable ramp, and an attacking element is mounted on the platform at the place of its connection with the movable ramp, the device further comprises longitudinal and transverse damping elements mounted on the platform, movable and immovable ramp surfaces facing towards the support base.
