PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor controller which appropriately controls a power supply current that flows in a power supply circuit between a DC power source and a power conversion circuit, in the case where an absolute value of the power supply current is equal to or greater than a target value.SOLUTION: A motor controller 401 comprises a d/q-axis voltage command calculation part 43, a suppression gain calculation part 45 and a d/q-axis voltage command suppression part 46. The d/q-axis voltage command calculation part 43 calculates d- and q-axis voltage commands Vdand Vqwith respect to an inverter 60. The suppression gain calculation part 45 calculates a suppression gain Kres that is a value equal to or greater than 0 and smaller than or equal to 1 in such a manner that an absolute value of an estimate ib_est of the power supply current that flows in a power supply circuit 30 between a DC power source 31 and the inverter 60 becomes smaller than or equal to a predetermined target value X. The d/q-axis voltage command suppression part 46 suppresses d- and q-axis voltage commands by multiplying the d- and q-axis voltage commands Vdand Vqwhich are calculated by the d/q-axis voltage command calculation part 43, by the suppression gain Kres.
