PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rudder device for a ship which can improve the efficiency of a high-lift rudder having a rudder trunk.SOLUTION: A rudder blade is composed of a front edge 102a, an intermediate part 102b and a rear edge 102c in a contour of a horizontal cross section, the front edge 102a has a shape protruding frontward in a semi-circular shape, the intermediate part 102b continuing to the front edge 102a is widened in a width in a streamline shape, and has a shape that the width is gradually narrowed toward the narrowest width part 102f via a salient part 102e for internally wrapping a rudder trunk 107 after arriving at the widest width part 102d in a region of the streamline shape, the rear edge 102c continuing to the narrowest width part 102f of the intermediate part 102b has a fishtail shape that the width is gradually widened toward a rear-edge widest width part 102g having a prescribed width, the salient part 102e has a shape corresponding to a contour of the rudder trunk 107, a rudder face is salient toward both-broadside directions, and a plurality of fins 119 which hang out of the rudder face to both the broadsides toward a horizontal direction are aligned at the salient part 102e along an axial core direction of a rudder axis.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
