PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body rear part structure that can enhance rigidity of a rear skirt panel without increasing a plate thickness and contribute to reduction of vehicle body weight.SOLUTION: A vehicle body rear part structure 100 is configured to include: a rear skirt panel 120 to be arranged inside a rear bumper 110; a rear floor panel 130 to be arranged at vehicle front side of the rear skirt panel; a rear floor side member 140 to be arranged outside in a vehicle width direction of the rear floor panel; and a rear bumper bracket 150 that connects the rear bumper to the rear skirt panel. A rear end of at least either one of the rear floor panel and the rear floor side member is joined to the rear skirt panel. The rear bumper bracket is joined to the rear skirt panel at a position which overlaps with a joining position between the rear skirt panel and the rear floor panel or the rear floor side member in a back view.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
