PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent of lock of an unnecessary account by notifying a user that a password is wrong when a legitimate user erroneously inputs the password in a user authentication system by a user ID and the password.SOLUTION: A password erroneously input to a user ID in the past is stored in an erroneous password storage part 312 as a history, and the history of passwords inputted from an input device 303 and the history of the passwords stored in the erroneous password storage part 312 are compared, and when a portion thereof is determined to be matched, the history of the erroneously input password is displayed in a display device 302 so as to be notified to the user, thereby preventing the repetition of the erroneous inputs of the password and preventing the unnecessary account lock.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
