A cover material that comprises a loop-pile fabric formed of fibers containing polyester fibers, and, on a surface of the loop-pile fabric on the side provided with a pile yarn, an adhesive layer and a cover layer in this order, wherein at least the tip parts of the pile yarn exist within the adhesive layer and a gap is formed between the ground weave of the loop-pile fabric and the adhesive layer.
