The present invention provides a medical clip device capable of readily connecting a clip and thread-like object, and a method for manufacturing and a method for operating the medical clip device. This medical clip device has: an outer tube body (70); an inner tube body (71) disposed inside the outer tube body (70); a clip (20) for griping internal tissue, the clip (20) being disposed on the distal side of the inner tube body (71); and a thread-like object (30) in which one end side (31) and another end side (32) extend from the interior the inner tube body (71) to the exterior of the inner tube body (71) on the proximal side of the inner tube body (71), and in which an intermediate section (33) is suspended on the clip (20) on the distal side of the inner tube body (71).
