An infrared-blocking composition comprising (A) an infrared-absorbing agent in which the wavelength of maximum absorption is within the range of 700-2000 nm, and (B) a siloxane polymer, wherein the (B) siloxane polymer includes a structural unit α represented by formula (1), and a structural unit β represented by formula (3), and the content ratio (α/β) of the structural unit α and the structural unit β is a molar ratio from 100/0 to 5/95. (In the formulas, R1 represents an aromatic hydrocarbon group, R3 represents a chain hydrocarbon group, and m and n each independently represents an integer from 1 to 3.)
