Based on the method provided in the embodiments of the present invention, a control plane device sends notification information to a forwarding plane device, and the forwarding plane device caches the notification information and sends the cached notification message to a host. Thus, excessive signalling interactions between the control plane device and the forwarding plane device are avoided, so that the implementation efficiency of the control plane device and the forwarding plane device is improved, and the performance of the control plane device and the forwarding plane device is improved. |
