The present invention relates to an LNG vaporizing system and an LNG vaporizing method, and more specifically, to an LNG vaporizing system for vaporizing an LNG supplied to an engine of an LNG fuelled drillship, and an LNG vaporizing method. The LNG vaporizing system comprises: a vaporizer which is supplied with an LNG for a fuel and vaporizes the LNG; and a seawater supply passage which supplies, to the vaporizer, seawater heated by waste heat generated in an engine room, wherein the heated seawater is supplied to the vaporizer at a flow rate of 50-100 m^3/hr and is circulated as a heat medium to vaporized the LNG. According to the present invention, since the LNG for the fuel is vaporized by using the seawater heated by the waste heat generated in the engine room of the LNG fuelled drillship, it is possible to minimize a design change of the LNG fuelled drillship, which is necessary for installing equipment for producing a heat medium used to vaporize the LNG for the fuel, and it is possible to improve energy efficiency. |
