摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar battery control device for exerting MPPT control with a power generation current of a solar battery mounted in a vehicle used as a controlled variable.SOLUTION: A solar battery control device comprises: a solar battery mounted in a vehicle; a load circuit which is connected to the solar battery and configured to be able to control a power generation current to be input of the solar battery; and a control unit executing MPPT control to search for a maximum power point of the solar battery, the control unit executing the MPPT control while changing the power generation current within a range equal to or smaller than a predetermined upper limit value ilmt when a vehicle velocity v detected by a vehicle velocity detection unit of the vehicle is higher than a predetermined velocity vth, the predetermined velocity being set lower than a vehicle velocity of the vehicle at which a change in the power generation current under the MPPT control cannot be tracked for output characteristic fluctuations in the power generation current and a power generation voltage of the solar battery in response to a behavior of the vehicle during traveling, and the predetermined upper limit value being set to be a value smaller than a short-circuit current of the solar battery which falls by the output characteristic fluctuations.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
