PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation method capable of making an image formed on a cloth-like fiber product clearer, highly-concentrated, flexible and tough, and also capable of forming in a relatively short time, and to provide the cloth-like fiber product.SOLUTION: An image formation method includes an ink adsorption layer-forming process of forming the ink adsorption layer by screen-printing a liquid-state or pasty binder composition for ink adsorption layer formation on the required portion of a cloth-like fiber product directly or through other layer, and an inkjet process of applying an aqueous pigment ink on the ink adsorption layer formed through the ink adsorption layer-forming process by an inkjet method to form an image. The binder composition for ink adsorption layer formation contains the inorganic porous fine particles having specific surface area of 200 m/g or more in order to adsorb the aqueous pigment ink applied by the inkjet method.SELECTED DRAWING: None
