PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable reduction of power consumption while maintaining excellent reception sensitivity.SOLUTION: A radio reception device 100 has a radio reception circuit for frequency-converting a received signal to an intermediate frequency signal, a frequency component detection circuit 106 for sampling the intermediate frequency signal with a variable oversampling frequency Fos and detecting plural frequency components from the intermediate frequency signal, and a control circuit 109 for setting the oversampling frequency Fos of the frequency component detection circuit 106. The control circuit 109 detects the data rate of a base band signal contained in the intermediate frequency signal, detects the signal level of the intermediate frequency signal, and determines and sets the oversampling frequency Fos of the frequency component detection circuit 106 on the basis of the data rate of the base band signal and the signal level of the intermediate frequency signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
