PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for clearly representing how long a priority of cell re-selection in a long term evolution (LTE) idle mode is effective, and describing when it is regarded that the effective period expires.SOLUTION: When a WTRU receives time information for representing a length of a time in which a dedicated cell re-selection priority is effective, together with the dedicated cell re-selection priority, a timer is started. When the timer expires, it means that the dedicated cell re-selection priority is not effective any more. While the WTRU does not receive any dedicated cell re-selection priority or when the timer expires. The WTRU awaits reception of system information (SI) update and after the SI update is received, the WTRU overwrites the existent cell re-selection priority with information included in the SI update.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
