PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing conjugated diene polymer in which, in a step of devolatilizing a solution containing a conjugated diene polymer by using an apparatus having rotating twin screws, while preventing the clogging of the vent piping of the apparatus by the polymer, a conjugated diene polymer with less gel component and residual volatile can be produced.SOLUTION: Provided is, in an apparatus including a production process of producing a conjugated diene polymer solution containing a conjugated diene polymer and a solvent, and a devolatilization process of devolatilizing the solvent by heating, while conveying, the conjugated diene polymer solution in the apparatus having rotating twin screws, a method for producing conjugated diene polymer, and in which, in the apparatus, the ratio of the length of the screw to the diameter of the screw is 4.0 or more and 12 or less, and in the devolatilization process, the content volume of the apparatus and the amount of solvent volatilized per unit time satisfy a particular relational equation.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
