PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of shortening the time necessary for checking and adjustment work of the centering of a tire molding former.SOLUTION: The centering checking tool for a tire molding former, which is used for checking whether a laser beam is vertically applied at a center position in an axial direction between a pair of drums fitted to the main spindle of the tire molding former, includes a segment having a center line formed at a surface center to extend in a longitudinal direction, and a pair of holding parts fitted to both sides of the segment in width direction with a uniform length by sandwiching the center line so as to be able to slide, and configured to hold the segment while maintaining the position of the center line, and when the tool is set between the pair of drums of the tire molding former, the pair of holding parts is slid to come into contact with the side face of the pair of drums.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
