PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell capable of suppressing a decrease in output density.SOLUTION: A fuel cell 1 comprises: a membrane-electrode assembly 16 including an anion exchange membrane 4, a fuel side electrode 2 provided on one side in the thickness direction of the anion exchange membrane, and an oxygen side electrode 3 provided on the other side in the thickness direction of the anion exchange film; a fuel diffusion layer 5 provided on one side in the thickness direction of the fuel side electrode 2; and a fuel supply member 7 provided on one side in the thickness direction of the fuel diffusion layer 5 and supplying a liquid fuel. In the fuel diffusion layer 5, the amount of transmission of hydrazines is not more than 500 g/mh, and the amount of transmission of alkali metal is not more than 300 g/mh.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
