The invention relates to an electrically actuated device for a braking caliper based on the generation of the braking force from two electric step-by-step motors which drive into rotation a nut and a ball screw with close angular speeds so that the screw has a low axial feed, able to create a sufficiently high force to provide the required braking force. According to the invention, the device comprises a nut (1) which may rotate in a caliper (2), coupled by means of some balls (3), with a screw (4), both the nut (1) and the screw (4) being driven in rotations in the same sense by gear wheels from the primary and secondary step-by-step motors (7 and 10), so that the angular speed of the screw (4) is a little higher than that of the nut (1), so as to generate a low axial movement of the screw (4) and a sufficiently high force to achieve the required braking force |
