<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste acid neutralizing agent that remarkably shortens the neutralization time, has a low reaction temperature, causes little blowout of harmful gas, has superior safety and work efficiency, is easily handleable, and can be mass-produced at a low cost. <P>SOLUTION: The waste acid neutralizing agent has a composition of the content of 80 wt.% or more of fine powdery activated magnesium formed by firing brucite being a kind of magnesium ore, at 800-1,100°C, or firing magnesite at 800-1,100°C and pulverized into 300 mesh or less, and the content of 20 wt.% or less of CaO. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
