[Class 115] The davit pivots successively about pivots 13 and 14 during its outward movement, the transition from one to the other being controlled by a guide roller 19 engaging the surface 18 of the davit stand. The pivot 14 is connected to the pivot 13 by a link 12 which engages a stop 16 at the end of the first stage of movement. The stop 17 limits the outboard movement of the davit.
