The present invention relates to a cell strain derived from the fin of a red sea bream having sensitivity with respect to megalocytivirus. More specifically, the present invention relates to a cell strain derived from the fin of a red sea bream having sensitivity with respect to megalocytivirus, a method for producing a cell strain derived from the fin of a red sea bream, and a method for producing a virus by using a cell strain derived from the fin of a red sea bream. The cell strain derived from the fin of a red sea bream according to the present invention has excellent sensitivity with respect to megalocytivirus and thus may be used in mass-producing megalocytivirus needed for fish disease research and vaccine production. The cell strain derived from the fin of a red sea bream has excellent durability and growth in a low plasma culture medium and a non-plasma culture medium, so economical culturing is possible. Also, an industrially effective virus may be produced.
