PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gravure printing ink composition achieving excellent environmental hygiene because of absence of a metal complex having an acetylacetone ligand and used as a crosslinking agent and absence of an aromatic hydrocarbon organic solvent used as an organic solvent; and having stability over time and excellent coating physical properties such as adhesion to a plastic film, heat resistance, oil resistance, and blocking resistance equal to those of a gravure printing ink composition containing titanium acetylacetonate or zirconium acetylacetonate as a crosslinking agent.SOLUTION: In a gravure printing ink composition for surface printing including a pigment, a binder resin, a chelate crosslinking agent, and an organic solvent: a content of the chelate crosslinking agent, which is one or more selected from zirconium propionate, n-butyl phosphate titanium, and a reactant between tetraisopropoxy titanium and 2-ethyl hexanoic acid, is 0.1-8 mass%. The gravure printing ink composition for surface printing includes no aromatic hydrocarbon organic solvent. |
