[Problem] To provide a pharmaceutical preparation containing a polystyrenesulfonic acid salt, which has a reduced sensation of water absorption and a reduced sensation of burning upon ingestion compared with conventional products and contains an excipient in a reduced amount. [Solution] A pharmaceutical preparation containing a polystyrenesulfonic acid salt as an active ingredient, which comprises core granules each comprising the polystyrenesulfonic acid salt and a binder, wherein each of the core granules has at least one coating layer formed on the surface thereof, and wherein the coating layer comprises at least (a) a water-soluble polymer or a water-insoluble polymer and (b) a sugar or a sugar alcohol. |
