PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grinding apparatus capable of grinding a ground material efficiently.SOLUTION: The grinding apparatus comprises: a grinding housing 3 for defining a grinding chamber 4; a stationary disc 5 housed in the grinding chamber and having a stationary grinding face on the lower face; a material pouring hole 13 for feeding a material 31 to be ground; a plurality of rotary grinding discs 6, 7 confronting the stationary disc 5 and having grinding faces on the upper faces for rotating on the common center of rotation; and drive means 25, 26 for rotationally driving through a plurality of rotational shafts 15, 19 disposed concentrically in multiplicity. A center side rotary grinding disc is housed in a recess 18 formed in the circumferentially rotary grinding disc positioned on the outer circumference side, and drives the rotary grinding discs so that relative rotations may be caused between the rotary grinding discs. A material to be ground is coarsely ground with the stationary grinding face and the grinding face of the center side rotary grinding disc, ground in an auxiliary manner between the outer circumference of the center side rotary grinding disc and the inner circumference of the outer circumference side rotary grinding disc, and finely ground between the stationary grinding face and the grinding face of the outer circumference side rotary grinding disc. |
