Provided is a vegetation block formed by utilizing illite as aggregate and a method of manufacturing the same. The vegetation block includes 20-30 wt% of blast furnace slag, 10-15 wt% of water, 2-5 wt% of alkali stimulant, 40-60 wt% of coarse aggregate, 3-5 wt% of illite, 1-2 wt% of zeolite, and 1-3 wt% of titanium dioxide. The coarse aggregate is first deposited and a crushing work is performed. Remaining materials are stirred and put to maintain porosity. The alkali stimulant includes at least one of calcium hydroxide, sodium hydroxide, and potassium hydroxide. The coarse aggregate is crushed in size of 20 mm or less so that a user can walk without a hitch. Compositions including the blast furnace slag, the alkali stimulant, and the illite are distributed into a plurality of local parts to be deposited. |
