The present invention relates to a foothold of a robot for the rehabilitation of walking. The foothold of the robot for the rehabilitation of the walking allows a patient to fix the feet of the patient onto the foothold of the robot and to walk according to a walking track of the foothold so that the rehabilitation effect of the walking can be produced. A portion of the foothold onto which the feet of the patient are fixed is coupled to another portion of the foothold by magnetic force of an electro-permanent holder. As a load cell installed in the foothold senses force having a predetermined level or more, the magnetic force is lost, so that the portion of the foothold is separated from another portion of the foothold. The foothold can reduce the risk of damaging the joint of the patient in unexpected situations such as the abnormal operation of the robot for the rehabilitation of walking, or the ankylosis of the patient, so that the safety of the robot for the rehabilitation of walking can be improved to increase the productivity of the robot. |
