According to an embodiment, an organic electroluminescent display device includes: a display panel; a panel driving unit which provides a gate driving signal and a source driving signal to the display panel; and a timing controller which controls the driving timing of the gate driving signal and the source driving signal. The display panel includes: a display area which displays an image; a pad area which surrounds the display area; and a plurality of signal lines which are placed on the pad area and are composed of signal lines including a contact unit and a non-contact unit. Among the signal lines, the contact unit of a first signal line is placed at a distance from the non-contact unit of a second signal line adjacent to the first signal line. The non-contact unit of the first signal line is placed at a distance from the contact unit of the second signal line adjacent to the first signal line. The embodiment, by placing the contact units and the non-contact units of the signal lines in the pad area alternately, can secure the distance between the contact units of adjacent signal lines. |
