Novelty: production of a low duty firebrick (low content in aluminium oxide) manufactured with Portland-type cement, with no drying and firing of the former is disclosed. Technical features: for the preparation of the invented firebrick there is utilized aluminosilicate minerals and Portland-type cement not affecting the final thermal properties of the firebrick. Embodiment: the invention findsapplication to constructions meant for wood combustion. Advantages: fuel cost suppression due to no firing process, reduction of CO2 emissions; increase of the production capability due to no limits resulting from the oven΄s volume. |
