PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning method of a battery can before sealing capable of efficiently reducing the number of occurrences of welding defects when manufacturing a battery can by sealing an aluminum-made battery case body and an aluminum-made lid member with laser welding.SOLUTION: The cleaning method of battery can before sealing includes: cleaning an aluminum-made battery case body and an aluminum-made lid member that are to be laser-welded by using a cleaning water having conductivity of 10 μS/cm or less at temperature of 60°C or less; and then drying at temperature of 60°C or less. |
