PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust collector which has a simple structure and good handleability and is suitable for a self-propelled vacuum cleaner, and the self-propelled vacuum cleaner having the dust collector.SOLUTION: A dust collector comprises: a dust collection container having an opening and accommodating dust; an inflow port for making the dust sucked from a suction port in the bottom of a vacuum cleaner flow into the dust collection container together with air; a filter part for making the air having flowed into the dust collection container pass through it, and collecting the dust; a cover part pivotally supported by the dust collection container in an openable and closable manner so as to cover the filter part and the opening of the dust collection container; and a discharge port for discharging the air having passed through the filter part from the dust collection container. The discharge port is arranged on the same side as the inflow port. The filter part is pivotally supported in the vicinity of the pivotally supporting portion of the cover part in the dust collection container so that it can be turned.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
