PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce labor and operation cost of cleaning a partition plate.SOLUTION: A precipitation separator 1 is constituted by arranging a profile partition plate 6 in a settling tank 2 having a liquid concentrate inlet 3, a clarification liquid outlet 4 and a concentration particle outlet 5. The profile partition plate 6 is arranged in the settling tank 2 in an inclined attitude having an upward angle of attack &thetas; to a liquid flow (an arrow a) formed in the settling tank 2 by continuously supplying a liquid concentrate 7 from the liquid concentrate inlet 3. When performing precipitation separation processing, the liquid concentrate 7 is continuously supplied from the liquid concentrate inlet 3, and a solid particle in the liquid concentrate 7 is precipitated while the liquid concentrate 7 flows toward the clarification liquid outlet 4 in the settling tank 2. In this case, settlement of the solid particle is promoted by the boycott effect in an area of extending in the oblique direction partitioned by the slantingly arranged profile partition plate 6. The solid particle settled toward an upper surface of the profile partition plate 6 is carried to the rear edge side by the accelerated liquid flow (an arrow a1) formed on the upper surface side of the profile partition plate 6, and a residue on the upper surface of the profile partition plate 6 is restrained. |
