The present invention relates to an apparatus for preventing generation of white plume and, more specifically, provides an apparatus for preventing generation of white plume for a multi-step real time chimney by using a honeycomb-type heat exchanger, which comprises: a honeycomb-type heat exchanger for preventing generation of white plume, wherein each of two flow paths is independently formed in a chimney; an outdoor air mixing device; and a control unit determining whether an outdoor air fan is operated. Therefore, a heat transmission area is increased, and heat transmission can be improved between exhaust gas and a heat exchange medium.
