The present invention relates to the use of spider venom, molecules or synthetic analogs thereof for skin whitening.The invention also relates to compositions comprising spider venom, molecules or synthetic analogs thereof for skin.whitening/depigmenting. The invention finally relates to a non-therapeutic method for whitening human skin comprising topically applying an effective amount on said human skin of the composition of the invention.
