PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To lower a manufacturing cost of an elevating/lowering legless chair for elevating and lowering an elevating/lowering unit to which a seat is attached along an elevating/lowering guide rail of a base unit.SOLUTION: An elevating/lowering legless chair includes a pair of left and right armrests 14 each attached to a support frame 18 by an armrest spring-up mechanism 42 in common for the left and right. The armrest spring-up mechanism 42 includes: an arm rotary shaft member 43 attached to one of the support frame 18 and the armrest 14; an arm rotary shaft receiving member 44 attached to the other, for rotatably supporting the arm rotary shaft member 43; and a positioning member 45 for limiting the movable angle range of the arm rotary shaft member 43 with respect to the arm rotary shaft receiving member 44. In a member to which the positioning member 45 is to be attached, both of a right attaching part 50 for arranging the positioning member 45 at such a position that the movable angle range of the armrest 14 becomes a movable angle range for the right side and a left attaching part 51 for arranging the positioning member 45 at such a position that it becomes the movable angle range for the left side are provided, and the armrest spring-up mechanism 42 are adaptable to any of the left and right armrests 14 by selecting the attaching parts 50 and 51. |
