PURPOSE:To prevent a black line from occurring at the trailing edge part of a paper by making the speed of a resist roller lower than the speed of a fixing roller. CONSTITUTION:When the circumferential speed of the resist roller 5 is set lower than that of the fixing roller 8, the carrying performance of the roller 8 becomes stronger than that of the roller 5. Therefore, the paper 3 is carried toward the fixing roller 8 side in a stretched state and sufficient tension is given to the paper 3 while it is carried. Due to that, even when the trailing edge part of the paper 3 is separated from the resist roller 5, the carrying performance of the paper 3 is secured by the effect of the tension, and the paper 3 resists the frictional resistance performance of a paper guide 9a provided to a part near an image holding body 6. Thus, the contact of the paper and the image holding body such as a photosensitive drum is stabilized and the black line is prevented from occurring. |
