PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drowsy driving warning device and a drowsy driving warning method with high reliability capable of surely capturing drowsy driving and issuing a warning.SOLUTION: The drowsy driving warning device comprises: first detection means for detecting a sleepiness level L1 of a driver from a vehicle running state; and second detection means for detecting a sleepiness level L2 of the driver from biological information on the driver, selects any of the sleepiness level L1 detected by the first detection means, the sleepiness level L2 detected by the second detection means or an average sleepiness level Lx being an average value of the sleepiness levels L1 and L2, and issues the warning according to the selected sleepiness level. |
