The purpose of the present invention is to provide: an ethylene acrylic rubber composition which exhibits excellent permanent compression set and excellent crosslink bonding properties, even if secondary crosslinking is not performed; an ethylene acrylic rubber obtained by subjecting said composition to primary crosslinking; a rubber-metal composite obtained by bonding together the ethylene acrylic rubber and a metal; and a bonded piston seal comprising said rubber-metal composite. Accordingly, provided is an ethylene acrylic rubber composition obtained by mixing, per 100 parts by weight of a binary ethylene acrylic rubber polymer comprising ethylene and an acrylic acid ester, 1-7 parts by weight of calcium hydroxide. Also provided are: an ethylene acrylic rubber obtained by subjecting the ethylene acrylic rubber composition to primary crosslinking, i.e. peroxide crosslinking; a rubber-metal composite obtained by crosslink bonding the ethylene acrylic rubber and a metal following the primary crosslinking; and a bonded piston seal comprising the rubber-metal composite. |
