PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem of the entry of molten metal into the cooling path of a cooling plate 2 when an insert mold is broken.SOLUTION: A sleeve 43 is provided to spread over a cooling medium outlet and a cooling medium inlet opposed to each other and formed to open in facing surfaces of a cooling block 6 of an insert mold and a cooling plate 2. This sleeve 43 includes molten-metal flow-out suppressing means 51 for permitting the cooling medium to pass through, and for suppressing molten metal entering from a cavity when the insert mold is broken from flowing out to the cooling plate 2. |
