The present invention relates to a method for communicating over a voice communication system operable over a digital communication network control information related to a component of the voice communication system, said control information at least comprising routing information, the method comprising the steps of
- sending to at least one destination audio data packets (10) over the digital communication network, at least one of the audio data packets comprising a header, a payload (11) and a data field (12) comprising at least a part of the control information comprising said routing information,
- receiving at the at least one destination the at least one of the audio data packets comprising the header, the payload and the data field,
- analysing said at least part of the control information and performing at least a routing action on the component of the voice communication system based on the control information in the data field. |
