The invention relates to a dual-clutch transmission (1, 2, 3, 4) for a motor vehicle, comprising a first transmission input shaft (5), a second transmission input shaft (6), two drive shafts (9, 10), a plurality of gears (11 to 24), and a plurality of coupling devices (S1, S2, S3, S4, S5, S6), wherein the first transmission input shaft (5) can be or is connected to a drive motor by means of a first friction clutch and the second transmission input shaft (6) can be or is connected to the drive motor by means of a second friction clutch, wherein the gears (11 to 24) are arranged so as to mesh with each other in such a way that a plurality of forward speeds can be selected by means of the coupling devices (S1 to S6), wherein at least one forward speed is designed as a winding-path speed, wherein a power flow of the winding-path speed winds through a plurality of gear stages, and wherein certain gears form two dual gear planes (31, 32). A compact dual-clutch transmission (1, 2, 3, 4) having an in particular progressive gear-ratio graduation is provided in that at least one of the dual gear planes (31, 32) has three individual loose gears (14, 18, 23; 15, 19, 23), wherein one of said loose gears (14; 15) is associated with one of the transmission input shafts (6) and the two other loose gears (18, 23; 19, 23) are each associated with one of the two drive shafts (9, 10). |
