According to the present invention, an exterior material (1) for an electricity storage device comprises a heat resistant resin layer (2) as an outer layer, a thermoplastic resin layer (3) as an inner layer, and a metal foil layer (4) arranged between both layers. A resin coat layer (7) is deposited on an outer surface of the heat resistant resin layer (2) and contains a resin and filler. Satisfactory formability can be secured. Curling (bending) can be prevented. Preferably, the aspect ratio of the filler is 5 or higher.
