PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing D-amino acid using lactic acid bacteria with high efficiency, and to provide a novel lactic acid bacteria strain particularly suitable for the D-amino acid production method concerned.SOLUTION: Lactobacillus acidophilus MCC1847 strain which is a novel lactic acid bacteria is used for the production of D-amino acid. D-amino acid can be produced with high efficiency by using the novel lactic acid bacteria strain concerned. |
