PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera shake correction apparatus and a method thereof capable of acquiring a moving image of high quality, in which influence of estimated errors of a position and posture of a camera and translational shake are suppressed and camera shake in photographing is corrected, by a simple and inexpensive constitution.SOLUTION: A corresponding point acquisition unit 105 acquires correspondence relation of respective corresponding points of image data of first and second frames obtained through an imaging element 101. A posture estimation unit 106 estimates posture of an imaging device 1 in accordance with the correspondence relation of the corresponding points. A first correction quantity calculation unit 107 calculates a first camera shake correction quantity by the estimated posture. A projection processing unit 108 projects the image data of the first frame to the image data of the second frame. A second correction quantity calculation unit 109 calculates a second camera shake correction quantity on the basis of the projected image data of the first frame and the image data of the second frame. A correction unit 110 corrects camera shake on the basis of the first camera shake correction quantity and the second camera shake correction quantity. |
